On June 12, 2020, BitTorrent Inc. announced the end of its monthly BTT Airdrop to TRX holders. This is a medium-length article. Customers of Bittrex Global will no longer be eligible to receive their monthly dividends.
BTX is a TRC-10 utility coin that runs on the TRON blockchain platform and used for BitTorrent.
Bittrex Global will provide the initial and monthly airdrops of BitTorrent tokens (BTT) to holders of the TRON cryptocurrency (TRX).
First Distribution
Ten billion eight hundred eighty million BitTorrent tokens will be airdrop to TRON (TRX) holders on February 11, 2019, based on a TRX blockchain snapshot taken that day. The snapshot has a block height of 6,600,000 blocks in it.
You would receive BTT airdrop tokens if you owned TRON (TRX) on Bittrex on February 11, 2019. The ratio of TRON to BTT airdrop tokens is around 1:0.11. With 1 TRX on Bittrex, you will obtain around 0.11 BTT in airdrop tokens. Thus, TRX that carried on orders will credit as well. Only the TRX on your account qualifies you for the BTT airdrop tokens.
Please keep in mind that Bittrex Global will be closing our TRX wallet, which will affect both deposits and withdrawals. Bittrex Global says it may temporarily halt TRX trading to take accurate balance snapshots at block 6,600,000. Any TRX deposits you made to Bittrex Global before 6:00 PM PT on Tuesday, February 10, 2019, may credit to your BTT balance. To be eligible for the first BTT distribution, users must have a TRX balance greater than 100 TRX.
Distribution Every Month
The following is the formula for calculating the monthly BTT airdrop:
Each user’s daily BTT equals Bittrex’s daily BTT multiplied by their daily TRX holdings ratio1.TRX holdings per day divided by the total amount of TRX owned on Bittrex equals 1Daily User TRX holdings ratio.
The monthly tokens will send on or before the 15th of each month or by the next working day, whichever is earlier. The tokens will credit to your Bittrex Global account automatedly. Additionally, the monthly distribution plan is based on the information provided in the initial public announcement.
Please note that pending TRX deposits to Bittrex Global may disqualify you from receiving the BTT reward. A daily balance of less than 100 TRX or a BTT allocation of less than 100 BTT prevents participation in the monthly BTT payout.
