Budweiser has taken a distinctive approach to the NFT area. It starts with purchasing the beer.eth ENS domain to create its very own memorabilia. They also have Bud Light entering a DAO and incorporating NFT iconography into a Super Bowl commercial. The beer company is already off to the races thanks to a marketing agreement with a well-known cryptocurrency game.
Budweiser reveals its intentions this week to incorporate the brand’s famous Clydesdale horses. It will be from previous marketing promotions into the Ethereum-based NFT horse driving game Zed Run. The company earlier announces a partnership with Stella Artois, which, like Budweiser, is operated by Anheuser-Busch InBev.
The beer company will produce in-game horse skins centering on its prominent Clydesdale mascots. Thus, this will be part of the agreement that they recently announced. The platform will also have a Budweiser-themed racing circuit in the gameplay. The companies will also work together on in-game challenges, with a net prize pool of $185,000, as well as special luxury items.
To join Zed Run, users must possess an NFT racehorse. An NFT functions similarly to a deed of property for an object. This includes artwork, souvenirs, or interactive video game products. They may also use it as a community participation card. This will be a ticket to a real or virtual event or a tool to support brand interaction efforts.
Zed Run may offer a Budweiser Pass NFT on June 9. Hence, they have 2,500 NFTs purchasable for $225 each including Ethereum platform processing costs. Owners who already possess a Budweiser Heritage Can NFT or maybe a Zed Run Genesis NFT racehorse pass will have first claims on the sale.
Budweiser Takes Bunch of Advances in the NFT Space
Budweiser Pass NFT owners will therefore receive a Budweiser Clydesdale skin in July. Moreover, they will also have a virtual t-shirt that characters in the Ethereum metaverse game Decentraland may wear.
Zed Run and the beer company will give a burn-to-earn reward if they complete the campaign in early 2023 and meet all functionalities. This is a selection of yet-unannounced incentives for burning or completely eliminating the Budweiser Pass NFT.
