Tron creator, Justin Sun is getting political. The centralizing crypto entrepreneur said on Friday he is leaving his creation Tron blockchain to TRON token holders.
Sun said in an interview with CoinDesk that he is moving to concentrate crypto legitimization in Latin American countries. This is after witnessing El Salvador’s success in making bitcoin a legal tender.

For now, that means getting the minister of the Grenada government to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Sun detailed his career plans in an open letter reviewed by CoinDesk. They included giving away at least some of his powers on the Tron blockchain. Also, promoting blockchain and crypto in countries like Grenada.
“My career in the future will concentrate on the legitimization of blockchain technology on a nation- state position,” Sun said in an interview Tuesday. After watching the U.S. House Financial Services Committee cut six directors about crypto last week, Sun said that the assiduity cannot make each- by bet on the U.S., given the country’s slow progress and conservative views on crypto’s legalization.
In pushing crypto relinquishment, Sun is especially bullish on Caribbean countries including Grenada and the Bahamas. He was visiting Panama at the time of his CoinDesk interview on Tuesday. Thinking meticulously Sun’s decision also comes at a time when the overall crypto request is showing signs of prostration, with bitcoin down about 25 percent from November’s all- time high.
But Sun is propitious and remains bullish on the price side, despite short- term query. “We cannot completely calculate on the U.S. request,” he said. “There are nearly eight billion people in the world and the U.S. only has just three hundred million people. The U.S. request shouldn’t decide on crypto with further than seven billion people left in the rest of the world.” In his open letter, Sun said that the Tron Foundation will dissolve in time and three super bumps associated with him have retired from Tron’s specialized grid this week.
The Tron Community
The twenty-seven super representatives on the Tron blockchain will be tagged by the Tron community. Tron, like other so- called Ethereum druthers, is known for low sale costs and faster speed. It is the leading home of the tether (USDT) stable coin, for illustration. Sun said he will continue promoting Tron’s brand while stepping down from the day-to- day operations at the Tron Foundation. He did not address his remaining influence on Tron, as the network’s statuette and one of its largest bag holders.
One of the most influential numbers in crypto, Sun is no foreigner to contestation. It will be intriguing to see if it follows him into his coming act.
