McDonald’s, the American fast-food titan, has created a zodiac collection in the Metaverse. This is to commemorate the Chinese Lunar New Year event.
According to reports, the fast-food chain teamed up with Humberto Leon to create a one-of-a-kind collection of zodiac animal themes. Leon is the co-founder of the prestigious fashion label Opening Ceremony.

In honor of the festival, dubbed the Year of the Tiger, these two multinational corporations have teamed up. They created a virtual reality experience.
Moreover, Humberto Leon, a Chinese-Peruvian American, would produce the designs, which feature his cross-cultural identity prominently.
Customers may see Leon’s design by visiting the life-like display on virtual reality social platforms AltspaceVR and Spatial. They can also get horoscopic predictions for the coming year depending on their birth year and zodiac animal.
McDonald’s Senior Director of Cultural Engagement, Elizabeth Campbell, commented on the news. She is saying that there is no better time for her organization to enter the Metaverse than now. This is because the Year of the Tiger, she claims, is a symbol of bravery, strength, and confidence.
