Today, SOL Spaces made the exciting announcement that the grand opening of its first store. It would take place at 20 Hudson Yards in the city of New York. The store is the result of a collaborative effort between the SOL Foundation and several ecosystem partners. It will be open from 10:00 to 20:00 from Monday through Saturday and from 11:00 to 19:00 on Sundays.
The shop bills itself as “the world’s first retail and instructional facility dedicated to Web3,” and it focuses on attracting new customers to blockchain technology. Visitors will access various resources, including lessons, programming services, and Solana-based on-chain experiences. In addition, visitors will be able to earn “unique incentives” for participating in activities in actual stores.
SOL is one of the most prominent cryptos and blockchains. It has a market cap of over $14.5 billion and over $2.6 billion locked across its protocols. The blockchain has been criticized for stalling numerous times. Its enormous throughput capacity and low fees set it apart from other smart contract-enabled chains like Ethereum.

Customers can generate their own Solana wallets at a seed phrase booth. Visitors who complete the available learning modules on SOL projects can earn a variety of NFTs and cryptos, including USDC.
In addition to selling NFTs, the store will also showcase several works by local artists. It includes the upcoming Solana Saga smartphone, crypto “lifestyle” items like sweatshirts and t-shirts, and interactive art installations. Business visitors can save fifty percent on purchases up to two hundred dollars when they use the Solana Pay app. Also, the store intends to switch up the experiences it provides often.

A following tweet from the official Solana account dropped a hint about the possibility of future growth. Even though, at this point, only the Hudson Yards location has been confirmed for the restaurant.
