$3.6M Raised in Private Funding Round
The Kingdom, a new open-world metaverse concentrating on cultural experiences, has acquired $3.6 million in a private fundraising round.
On the other hand, according to a news statement, the private round drew a diverse group of notable investors. Sweeper DAO, 3 Commas, Chiron Partners, SMG, Infinity Ventures Crypto, Alameda Research, Shima Capital, Newman Capital, Infinity Ventures Crypto, and Liquid Lab Ventures are among the companies participating.
Furthermore, The Kingdom promises to be the first culture-driven metaverse in the world. It allows users to explore immersive cities, go on missions, play games, dress up their NFTs, and build their own virtual universe.
Moreover, the team hopes to bring an open-world metaverse to life. Through non-fungible token (NFT) collaborations, multinational brand alliances, and the creation of a global community, this focuses on culture-led events.
Additionally, various NFT avatars will socialize, play, entertain, and create an immersive cutting-edge digital playground in the Kingdom’s metaverse.
On the other hand, brands can mint NFTs in The Kingdom metaverse, which can sell or utilize for a variety of purposes. The team has revealed that it is in talks to collaborate with a variety of worldwide businesses, cultural representatives, and NFT projects. If all goes according to plan, the first NFT collaborations will reveal by the end of Q2 2022.
A Unique Metaverse
The Kingdom’s Chief Security Officer, Josh Kovac, commented on the project’s latest milestone. According to him, the Kingdom will be a first-of-its-kind metaverse that fully exploits the power of cultural zeitgeist. Additionally, their goal is to make a social hub for everyone. They see users from all around the world contributing to the planet’s fabric.
Additionally, Miraijuku is the Kingdom’s first unveiled and unlocked city, inspired by the never-ending bustle of Asian metropolises. Users can work together to build, earn money in P2E games, or simply explore the future metropolis. They want their users to be able to choose how they wish to interact with The Kingdom and its unlimited possibilities.
Interestingly, players can use the rewards earned through play-to-earn gaming in The Kingdom metaverse to enhance their characters, buy NFTs, buy houses, and more, according to the team.
Furthermore, members interested in joining The Kingdom metaverse should have their avatars generated in the Kingdom Capital. Users can travel around futuristic towns with varied themes, brand-built businesses, use residences, public structures, and many digital activities after they’ve entered the metaverse.
Land parcels are also available in the Kingdom, allowing users to construct new structures and zones.
Actually, the project’s main goal is interoperability. The Kingdom will be able to host a variety of industry projects. This allows users to interact with the project using their existing NFT assets.
