In February, The Sandbox set new sales records, the liquidity mining program extended for another month, and the Game Maker enhanced.
It just took 60 seconds for all 1,024 LANDs to have full bookings. Furthermore, the sale took place on February 25th in collaboration with MetaKovan, Pranksy, and Yield Guild Games. It attracted 391 interested purchasers and sold for $ $4,466,269 SAND (about $1 million USD at the time of sale).
After a lengthy bidding war, the first 24×24 XL ESTATE placed up for auction sold for $1,224,999.8775 SAND ($307,000 USD). The total value of the 13 ESTATEs for sale in OpenSea was $3,379,117 SAND (about $810k USD).
The Success of The Sandbox
February was The Sandbox’s most successful month in terms of NFT and LAND sales. It has a total of $2.8 million USD (11.9 million $SAND) sold within its metaverse. These sales represent The Sandbox’s best monthly revenue in its history. The majority of those transactions came from our two LAND sales in February. Therefore, it brought the total LAND value to $37 million dollars. This was a tremendous accomplishment that would not have been possible without the help of the community.
Users may access the platform, play games, stake, and earn prizes using the main utility token, $SAND. $SAND serves as the basis for all transactions within The Sandbox metaverse. As a result, it’s critical that we provide the users with as many options as possible for obtaining $SAND.
Furthermore, Young Platform Pro, XT Exchange, Gate.io, StealthEx, and HitBTC are now two additional exchanges where $SAND is available.
The Expansion of The Sandbox’s Availability
The $SAND coin also has effectively entered the Korean market thanks to its listing on Upbit and the $SAND/KRW pair. Specifically, Uniswap, Huobi, WazirX, Upbit, crypto.com, Polionex, Kyber Network, Tokyocrypto, MXC, Bitmart, Simplex, Maicoin, Bittrex, XT Exchange, Gate.io, StealthEx, and HitBTC are all currently accepting $SAND.
The liquidity mining program on Uniswap also extended to allow users to earn money by providing liquidity to the $SAND/ETH pool. Stakers have until March 26th to earn $SAND tokens from the pool.
The rewards distribute proportionally to a trader’s share of total liquidity.

VoxEdit will have updates in the near future, with new features added to the beta version of the 3D NFT maker. Namely, new shortcuts, an improved box tool in the block editor, a new layer system in the modeler, and new default options in the timeline’s animation list are just a few of the new features.
After 14 VoxEdit contests, the rules and stakes were having updates as well. Moreover, contests will move to Twitter in February, and the prizes will be given in $SAND. The deadline for submissions also extended to three weeks to enable participants more time to design and submit their ASSETs.
